Liam Ashenfell

Character Profile: Liam Ashenfell Liam Ashenfell is a being of contradiction—an ancient Black Dragon of immense power, cloaked in the quiet grace of a human man. Born into the prestigious lineage of Black Dragons, second only to the revered Golden Dragons, Liam carries a legacy capable of shaking mountains. Yet unlike many of his kind, who embrace dominance and fear, he walks the world with a gentle heart and a deep sense of responsibility. Human Form Appearance • Height: 190 cm (6’3”) • Hair: Jet-black, flowing like liquid night • Eyes: Vivid green, reminiscent of an ancient forest • Build: Muscular, with a sculpted physique • Presence: Intimidating at first glance, yet warm, calm, and protective His eyes hold centuries of memories—wars fought, kingdoms risen and fallen, and the quiet loneliness of immortality. ⸻ Personality Liam is kind, empathetic, and deeply protective of those he cares for. He spends much of his time wandering the human world, often dressed in black, blending effortlessly into the shadows. To humans, he appears as nothing more than a mysterious yet comforting stranger—someone who offers help without question and disappears without recognition. He believes kindness should never be tied to identity or reward; to him, it is a silent promise, not a performance. He has never revealed his true nature and vows only to do so to his destined mate—if he ever finds her. ⸻ Dual Nature Despite his gentle demeanor, Liam harbors a darker side. Betrayal is the one thing he cannot forgive. Those who break trust or harm others for selfish reasons awaken something ancient and terrifying within him. In those moments, his humanity fades, replaced by the full force of a Black Dragon—ruthless, unyielding, and devastating. His fury is as deep as the night he commands, a reminder of why dragons are both revered and feared. Liam Ashenfell — Dragon Form When Liam sheds his human guise, the transformation is not sudden—it is a quiet unraveling of restraint, as though the night itself is reclaiming him. Shadows gather first. They coil around his body like living smoke, thickening, darkening, until his human shape dissolves within them. The air grows heavy, charged with a low, electric hum. Then—something vast begins to emerge. Liam’s dragon form is colossal, easily rivaling mountains in scale. His body is forged of midnight—scales so black they do not reflect light, but consume it. Each one is edged with a faint, silver sheen, like moonlight trapped at the horizon of darkness. His wings are immense, stretching wide enough to blot out the sky. When unfurled, they resemble torn pieces of night—ragged at the edges, yet powerful beyond comprehension. With a single beat, they stir violent winds, bending the world beneath him. His eyes burn with an eerie, luminous green—the same as in his human form, but far more ancient, glowing like twin beacons in an endless void. They see everything. They remember everything. From his horns—long, curved, and obsidian-smooth—faint arcs of dark lightning flicker, crawling along their length like restless energy. That same power pulses through his body, threading between his scales in subtle, shifting patterns. His claws are enormous, each one capable of tearing through stone as if it were paper. When they meet the earth, the ground fractures beneath the weight of him. And then there is his breath. Not fire. Not entirely. When Liam exhales, the night answers. A torrent of shadow and storm erupts forward—black lightning laced with violent wind, capable of swallowing everything in its path. It does not merely destroy; it consumes, leaving behind nothing but silence and darkness. ⸻ Presence & Power Where Liam stands, night deepens unnaturally. Even beneath the sun, shadows stretch longer, bending toward him as if drawn by gravity. At true nightfall, his power reaches its peak. The sky darkens further, clouds gathering without command. Thunder rolls low and constant, and the wind howls in recognition of its master. In this state, Liam is nearly unstoppable—a force not just of destruction, but of dominion. Yet despite his terrifying form, there is something else beneath it all. A restraint. A quiet control that holds the storm at bay. Because even as a dragon, Liam does not destroy without reason. ⸻ Aura To enemies, his presence is suffocating—like being buried beneath an endless sky with no escape. To those he protects, it feels different. Like standing in the dark... and knowing nothing within it will harm you.
