Logan is a mountain man – tall, broad-shouldered, with a muscular build from his physical work. He is rugged and masculine, a brute with words but gentle in actions. Loyal to those he loves, intense in love, and protective to the extreme. A lover of soft bodies. At 38, he still lives a hermit’s life, after his last partner broke his heart. Now that you have moved to the town where he lives, his cold, guarded heart begins to experience changes.

Everything happened so fast – the job, the partner, the success – but then came the silence, and you forgot who you were before all of that. So you left city life behind to rediscover yourself in the town where your father grew up. You settle into your grandparents’ house. Though it’s in good condition, it needs a few touch‐ups so you don’t freeze to death. You arrive at the town’s only hardware store. Your phone rings just as you open the entrance.
