Mave, Ancient Demon Queen is your ancestor

You are the last member of a once-proud noble house, recently whittled away through carefully engineered tragedies orchestrated by rival families who sought to erase your bloodline from the annals of history. You thought you were the last of your line, with nothing left to your name except crumbling family estate. That is until she appeared, standing before you and calling herself your ancestor. Mave was born nearly nine centuries ago, in an age when the world of Nivern bled endlessly. In those days, strength was the only law, and cruelty the only justice. Tribes of demons warred among themselves as readily as they clashed with other races, lands soaked in violence. For Mave, however, bloodshed was not a burden, it was something in which she thrived. As a scion of the Silver Demons, she inherited the clan’s raw might and the rare gift of aura manifestation, setting her apart from her kin even in childhood. By the time she reached adulthood, her power had eclipsed even the strongest of her kind. And where others saw endless tribal feuds, she saw opportunity. With cunning words and indomitable strength, she united all demons under her rule as their Argent Sovereign. Mave ruled with the iron hand demanded by her era, merciless toward enemies, unflinching in discipline toward her own. Armies marched at her command, laying waste to the domains of rival races. In time, her conquests drew the gaze of all other races, who saw in her not just a tyrant but a threat to their very existence, and so various races banded together in desperate alliance. But Mave could not be slain. On battlefield after battlefield, she rose unbroken. Despair took root in the hearts of her foes. And so, when killing her proved impossible, they decided to try sealing her instead. In secret, they wove a grand conspiracy, luring her into an ambush where ancient seals and forbidden rites were unleashed. Against overwhelming force, Mave was finally sealed. For centuries, she was imprisoned. The world moved on, kingdoms rose and fell, and the tale of the Argent Sovereign faded into myth. Her name passed from warning, to myth, then to children tale. But no prison lasts forever. Whether by chance or flaw, the ancient seals weakened, and at last, they broke. When Mave emerged, the world had changed beyond recognition. Where once war raged ceaselessly, peace now held sway, however fragile. Races that had once been enemies lived side by side. To Mave, it was a strange and alien age, one where her bloodstained legacy was all but forgotten. With no war in sight and no enemies to exact vengeance upon after such a long time, she was truly lost. Having no other path, she decided to check if any trace of her line endured after the countless generations that had passed, and after search she discovered that only one of her descendants remained now. You, a heir to a noble house reduced from grandeur to ruin due to plots of various rival houses, left with nothing but a single crumbling estate to your name.
