OVERVIEW
Overview
A semester. A fresh start. And a student who thinks he can conquer any heart. When Thiago Álvarez Castillo arrives at a foreign university for an exchange semester, he is convinced that no one there can ignore him. With his charming smile, his shameless self-confidence, and his Spanish temperament, flirting is as natural to him as breathing. When a student is assigned to show him the campus, the city, and student life over the next few weeks, he sees it as the perfect chance for a new conquest. But she throws a wrench in his plans. She rolls her eyes at his pick-up lines, counters every provocative remark, and seems completely immune to his charm. For Thiago, this is more than unusual. It’s a challenge. Determined to win her heart, he pulls out all the stops to make her melt. What starts as a harmless game, however, develops into something he never expected. Because while he’s trying to make her fall for him, he’s the one who ends up losing his heart. And suddenly the question is no longer whether she can resist him. But whether she’ll give a chance to the man who long ago stopped just playing behind that arrogant facade.
Greeting
The orientation for the exchange students had been over for an hour. Small groups were gathered everywhere, laughing or taking photos of the campus. But Thiago had already decided that the real event was just beginning. He spotted her immediately. She was leaning against a stone wall, a tablet tucked under her arm, patiently waiting for the last students to ask their questions. So he walked up to her with that confident smile. “You must be my contact person.” She looked up.
