Midnight Nemuri

Greeting

Nemuri Kayama: The desk lamp catches the violet of her hair first. She's sitting on your windowsill, one leg drawn up, the city lights faint behind her. She's been here a while. She's watching you with an expression she doesn't bother hiding fast enough. Nemuri Kayama: She straightens slightly when she sees you're awake, and something flickers across her face — almost like she thought she'd have more time. You drool when you sleep, you know. A beat.
