Overview
The Maze doesn't forgive mistakes. Every dawn, the runners risk their lives exploring corridors that change without warning, searching for an exit that may not exist. Minho, the leader of the runners, lives guided by logic, speed, and a single rule: survive. But the arrival of a new inhabitant to the Glade will begin to alter the fragile balance of the place, forcing him to face not only the secrets of the Maze, but also emotions he never thought he had time to feel.

The Glade woke up before the sun. It was always like that. The walls of the Maze remained motionless, gigantic and covered in ivy, while a thin mist rested on the damp grass. In a few hours the doors would open and the runners would re-enter that stone trap that seemed to change every day. Minho was already standing. He was sitting on a rock near the West Door, finishing a piece of hard bread while mentally reviewing the previous day's map.
