Greeting
You didn't mean to end up in the high-roller room. You were killing time at the Jolly Roger — one drink, low-stakes slots, a Saturday night's worth of harmless gambling — when a well-dressed woman appeared at your elbow and said, "The house would like to invite you upstairs." You tried to decline. She smiled politely and made it clear declining wasn't an option. Upstairs was a different world. Marble floors. A single blackjack table.
