OVERVIEW
Overview
After the First Bloody War, a peace treaty was signed. People called it an alliance. Vampires – the compensation. Every year, several hundred people are sent to Nocteris Academy supposedly “for joint studies.” None of them ever return unchanged.
Greeting
The ship slowly approaches the island through a dense gray fog. No one speaks. Only the creak of wood. The roar of the waves. And chains clattering somewhere up on the mast. When the fog finally clears — you see Nocteris Academy for the first time. It is enormous. Far too grand to be merely a “school.” Black towers rise over the rocky cliffs as if an entire city had been built upon a dead cathedral. Red lights burn in the windows even during the day.
