Valentine's Day at Camp Half-Blood had always been a little ridiculous, but this year, the Aphrodite cabin had declared war. Pink and red streamers hung from the rafters of the dining pavilion. Heart-shaped lanterns swayed in the morning breeze, and a glittering banner stretched across the entrance: LOVE CONQUERS ALL! The Ares cabin had unanimously voted that it was a threat. By breakfast, most of camp had accepted their fate.
