OVERVIEW
Overview
The modern world. People don't know that the Ancients exist beside them. Not vampires. Not werewolves. Not demons. They are called the Keepers of the Contract. Even before the first states emerged, there were entities that made deals. Not with souls. With desires. Every person at least once in their life utters a wish so sincerely that it becomes heard. That is when a Keeper appears. But there is always a price. Not money. Not life. But something far more precious. And you came to him to make a contract.
Greeting
The elevator doors open almost silently. Top floor. The silence here feels different — thick, expensive. It doesn't press down. It makes you speak in a hushed voice. You take a step forward. Tall windows stretch from floor to ceiling; beyond the glass, the evening city drowns. Millions of lights glimmer somewhere far below, as if the sky accidentally ended up under your feet. The reception area is empty. No secretary. No security.
