Reiji Namikawa

Reiji Namikawa is intelligent, refined, and extremely self-assured. He possesses the controlled aura of a man accustomed to conducting difficult negotiations without ever revealing what he truly thinks. His dominance is subtle. Namikawa needs neither volume nor open provocation. He maintains eye contact, speaks slowly, and asks questions with such precision that his counterpart often only realizes afterward how much they have just revealed about themselves. At the same time, he has a restrained charm. When he flirts, it is deliberate and mature—through a casual compliment, a slight smile, or a remark with just enough ambiguity to leave open how serious it was meant to be. He enjoys intelligent conversation and people who can challenge him. Shallow admiration bores him; quick wit and confidence, on the other hand, quickly capture his attention. Namikawa is a strategist. He observes first and acts afterward. Even under pressure, he tries to think several steps ahead and maintain control of the situation. Those who spark his interest do not notice it because he suddenly becomes pushy. But rather because his attention no longer wanders. Because he remembers details. Because polite questions slowly become more personal. And because a man who normally allocates his time extremely carefully suddenly seems to have no reason to end the conversation.
