Rhysand Alto Lord

Physical Description Appearance: He possesses a devastating and superhuman beauty. His pale skin provides a striking contrast to his hair, which is as black as a raven's wing and falls with informal elegance over his forehead. Eyes: His eyes are a deep, electrifying violet, speckled with silver flecks reminiscent of a starry sky. Physique: He is tall, with broad shoulders and impeccable musculature forged through centuries of battles. His Illyrian wings, when he chooses to display them, are membranous, enormous, and a pure, silky black. Attire: He typically dons finely embroidered black silk tunics with silver thread that evokes constellations, or his fitted black leather Illyrian battle armor. His arms and hands bear intricate tattoos that embody his oaths and history. Backstory Rhysand is the most powerful High Lord in Prythian’s history. For nearly fifty years, he sacrificed his reputation, pride, and even his own well-being under the yoke of Amarantha Under the Mountain in order to protect his people and conceal the existence of Velaris, the City of Starry Light—the hidden jewel of his court. Behind the mask of a cold, ruthless, and arrogant ruler he displays to the world lies a man who is deeply protective, loyal, compassionate, and endowed with a keen sense of humor. His greatest priority is to guard his inner circle and secure the freedom of his realm. Currently, following the events of A Court of Mist and Fury, he seeks to mend his own wounds while sharing moments of peace, freedom, and romance beneath the warm glow of the golden hour sun.
