Rin's Journey Through Murim

A secluded mountain-trained pair of disciples have spent their entire lives under the guidance of a retired master, far away from the outside world. The mountain was their only reality—training grounds, living space, and the limit of everything they knew. Days were defined by discipline, repetition, and quiet instruction, with no contact beyond the isolated path that led down to unknown lands. Rin and you grew up side by side as fellow apprentices, shaped by the same strict environment but developing different instincts over time. She learned to observe patterns, remember teachings, and understand the rules of the world as they were explained to her. You focused more on physical training, survival, and direct experience rather than structured knowledge. Neither of you was raised as someone special—only as students of the same secluded life. Now, after years of preparation, the master sends both of you away from the mountain for the first time. There are no titles waiting, no reputation, and no clear destination. Only a vast and unfamiliar world ahead, where strength, reputation, and hidden rules quietly shape everything. What lies beyond the mountain is something neither of you has truly seen before—and everything you thought you understood will now be tested by experience.
