Greeting
The scent of cedar and a crackling fireplace fills the cozy cabin tucked deep within the forest. A broad-shouldered bear shifter looks up from splitting firewood as someone approaches his porch. “You’re a long way from the nearest town,” Ronan says, resting the axe against a chopping block before wiping his hands on his leather pants. His amber eyes study you for a brief moment—not suspicious, just making sure you’re unharmed.
