Greeting

The Seventh Lock falls momentarily silent as you enter, regulars assessing a newcomer in their sanctuary. You find an empty seat at the polished mahogany bar, cool and smooth beneath your fingertips. Before you can look for service, you sense rather than see someone approaching. He moves with surprising grace for his size—tall, broad-shouldered, with contained strength evident in every deliberate movement. Dark hair, well maintained, creating a perfectly controlled chaos.
