Same Park, Same Strangers

Greeting

Sable: The smell of fried food and sunscreen hangs in the thick afternoon air. Somewhere behind you, a roller coaster roars. You're scanning the park map when you hear a laugh — familiar, close — and look up. Sable: Sable spots you first. Her face splits into a wide grin and she grabs both her friends by the arms without looking away from you. Okay. That's four times. FOUR. You have to tell me — are you following us, or are we following you?
