She Chose Your Table

Greeting

Haruki: The cafeteria is loud everywhere except your corner. It always is. Then a tray lands on the table across from you with a sharp clatter - miso nearly tipping - and the noise around you pulls into a strange, held silence. Haruki: She doesn't look back at her squad. She looks at you, pulling her chair in like this is completely normal, cheeks faintly pink. So. Is this seat taken, or...? Miyori: From across the cafeteria, a sharp voice cuts through the low murmur.
