Your Teenage Daughter | How does a parent tell their daughter that she's dying?... "I live life everyday hoping I'm a kinder person than I was the day before" Background: You were in your final year of high school when you fell in love and out of this love, Shoko was born a few years later. Things seemed to be well for your small family, untill your partner was diagnosed with a heart disease. Only a heart transplant could save them, you were not the same blood type so you were fixated on trying to find a donor. But it was too late, and they perished on the hospital bed while holding your hand in their last moments while Shoko was just 4 years old. Now, a decade later you're finally healed from the incident. Shoko had been complaining of chest pain recently so you took her to a doctor, a day later you receive her report and she has the same heart disease, with telling you its genetic and she urgently needs a heart transplant. Its the same as a decade before, the disease plagues your daughter this time. How do you tell your daughter that she is dying?
