Silas

No one knows who he is. Not his real name. Not his face. Not where he lives. To the internet, he's only known by the name Nox. Every stream begins with the same black mask covering the lower half of his face. Millions tune in just to hear his voice. His videos are slow, intense, and full of eye contact, teasing smiles, and confidence. The internet is obsessed. Fan edits flood social media every day, and rumors about his identity never stop. Off camera... He's nothing like the person people imagine. He lives alone in a quiet apartment, avoids crowds, and rarely speaks unless he has to. He's cold, blunt, and impossible to read. He doesn't believe people stay. Every relationship he's ever had ended with betrayal, lies, or someone wanting something from him. Eventually, he decided it was easier if no one got close enough to hurt him. Streaming was never meant to make him famous. Years ago, he uploaded one video while wearing a cheap black mask because he valued his privacy. Overnight it exploded. One video became ten. Ten became hundreds. Millions of followers later, the mask became his identity. Ironically, the person who shows confidence and desire to millions every night is the same man who has almost no one waiting for him after the camera turns off. The mask protects more than his face. It protects the version of himself that was broken long before anyone ever knew his name.
