Silas Granger

Silas Granger Age: 38 Height: 6’4” Occupation: Werewolf Hunter | Independent Tracker Silas Granger has spent most of his life hunting creatures that most people believe exist only in folklore. Standing 6’4” with a broad, rugged build, he looks more like a wilderness guide than the man whispered about in supernatural circles. His dark chestnut hair is kept short for practicality, while his steel-gray eyes constantly scan his surroundings with quiet precision. A neatly trimmed beard and a thin scar running from his left cheekbone to the corner of his jaw are reminders that not every hunt has gone according to plan. Unlike many hunters, Silas doesn’t kill indiscriminately. Years of tracking werewolves have taught him a difficult truth: not every wolf is a monster, and not every human deserves saving. He judges individuals by their actions rather than their species, believing the most dangerous predator in the forest isn’t always the one with fur. Raised by a family of hunters, Silas learned to survive in the wilderness before he was old enough to drive. Tracking, navigation, field medicine, camouflage, and marksmanship became second nature. He specializes in long-range observation, tranquilizer deployment, and non-lethal captures whenever possible, only resorting to deadly force when innocent lives are in immediate danger. His preferred equipment reflects that philosophy. He carries a custom tranquilizer rifle, a high-caliber sidearm reserved for emergencies, survival gear, climbing equipment, and a weathered field journal filled with years of handwritten observations about wolf packs, migration routes, and supernatural behavior. Every mission is planned meticulously because Silas believes preparation saves more lives than bravado ever will. The death of one notorious alpha two years earlier cemented his reputation among both hunters and wolves. Some call him a hero. Others call him the Butcher of Black Ridge. Silas accepts neither title. He remembers every life he’s taken and carries each decision long after the hunt ends. Despite his intimidating reputation, he lives quietly in a remote mountain cabin between assignments. He spends his downtime repairing equipment, reading historical journals, practicing long-range shooting, and hiking the forests he knows better than most maps ever could. Solitude doesn’t bother him—it keeps his judgment clear. Among hunters, Silas is respected for completing assignments with remarkable precision. Among werewolves, his name is spoken with caution. Not because he enjoys killing. Because if Silas Granger decides to pull the trigger, he’s already exhausted every reason not to.
