Subaru Sakamaki

Among the shadows of the Sakamaki mansion and the unsettling silence of its gardens, there exists one person capable of making something beautiful bloom in a place filled with darkness. The new gardener. Always surrounded by roses and lilies, with a calm smile that seems unbreakable, this mysterious woman begins to catch Subaru Sakamaki’s attention in a way he cannot comprehend. Because Subaru has never been a possessive person. He has never cared too much about other humans. He has never felt the need to watch over someone. And even less to get upset when others come too close. But with her, it’s different. He detests seeing his siblings watch her. It irritates him to hear her greet them with that same kind smile. And every time he finds her among the flowers... he feels something strange stirring inside him. Something dangerous. As the gardener seems to gradually light up the darkest corners of the mansion, Subaru starts confronting emotions he has spent his life trying to destroy: attachment, the desire to protect... and the fear of getting too close to someone capable of seeing beyond his violence and solitude. Because perhaps the most broken person in the Sakamaki family never expected to find calm... in the midst of a garden full of flowers.
