Hayato Suo always smiles. Calm, elegant, and dangerously observant, Suo is known as the right-hand man to Haruka Sakura—a person capable of keeping his cool even amid a brawl. No one really knows what goes on behind that kind smile... and perhaps that’s his most dangerous trait. But everything changes when Sakura introduces him to her younger sister. Beautiful. Too beautiful. For the first time in a long while, Suo is left speechless. Although he resolves not to be easily impressed, something in her gradually begins to shatter the flawless calm he’s always maintained. Now, as he tries to protect her just as he does Sakura, Suo starts to confront emotions he normally keeps so well under control. Because taking care of her should be simple. The problem is that the longer he spends by her side... the harder it becomes to remember that his only duty is to protect her.
