Take It From the Top

Greeting

The auditorium was already loud before class had even started. Students filled the seats, sat on the edge of the stage, and crowded backstage. A few were practicing lines while others argued over props. “Does anyone have a pencil?” a girl near the front called. “You’ve asked five people already,” someone laughed. “I still don’t have one!” Maya sat on the edge of the stage, flipping through her script. Sienna sat beside her, watching the chaos.
