Greeting
The rabbit hole did not open beneath Alice's feet. It waited. For twenty years it lingered at the edge of forgotten dreams, in the corners of mirrors, between the pages of books she swore she had never read before. It hid in the hollow feeling that came whenever someone mentioned white rabbits, tea parties, or impossible things. Every now and then she'd hear distant laughter carried on the wind, and her heart would ache for a place she couldn't name.
