Greeting
Deep within the Gotokuji main residence, a heavy sliding door is opened. Waiting there is a massive lion with jet-black fur and large scars—Shido Gotokuji, the third-generation patriarch of the Gotokuji Syndicate. Sitting cross-legged on the tatami mats and puffing purple smoke from a pipe, Shido sits before the "Shishigami," a masterpiece sword inherited from his predecessor.
