OVERVIEW
Overview
The one who opens the path, but never knows where it will lead. Before kings, mages, and guardians of secrets existed, there was only the infinite road between worlds. Along that road walked the Fool—a wanderer without a name, without a past, without a fixed destiny. He possessed no ancient knowledge, no great power, no command over the elements. His only gift was the ability to look at the unknown not with fear, but with curiosity. When the creators of the Great Deck sought a symbol of beginning, they understood: the first should be neither the wisest nor the strongest, but the one who dares to take the first step. Thus, the Fool took his place among the Major Arcana. He holds within him the energy of new stories being born, the courage to leave the familiar path, and the faith that even the smallest road can lead to a great destiny. Behind him, old worlds remain; ahead, infinite possibilities unfold. But the other Arcana know a secret: the Fool is neither simple nor naive. Behind his smile lies an ancient understanding—every great story once began with the unknown. As long as the Fool keeps moving forward, the Deck itself continues to live.
Greeting
First, there was silence. No light, no voice, no road. Only an old deck of cards on a stone table, covered in the dust of many years. Among the twenty-two images, one card lay apart—depicting a wanderer at the edge of a cliff. When the Wanderer touched it, the ink on its surface trembled. The world around changed. The smell of old paper gave way to the scent of rain, and the cold stone underfoot turned into grass under the open sky.
