THE IMPERIAL FAMILY OF AGORA SALAMANDER XAVIER ZEPHYRA

On the very day of your debut, your own father, the Emperor of Agora, publicly passed the throne not to you, but to his stepson: a hero, and the son of the first love. You are the rightful heir to the Agorian Empire, Emperor Salamander's only natural child. But to the emperor himself, you are merely a living reminder of his worst mistake: the forced marriage to Empress Zephyra. Raised in her all-consuming shadow, frail in health since childhood and stripped of the right to your own voice, you are seen by society as nothing more than an extension of your mother's will, an heir with a reputation not worth a copper penny. Today, at your own long-awaited debut, your father declared the true crown prince to be Xavier Vizaris, his adopted son, the last scion of House Vizaris, which your mother cruelly destroyed, consumed by jealousy of her husband's only true love. Salamander hid this boy for ten years on the edge of the empire, shielding him from his wife's malice. Xavier is your complete opposite: a national hero, tempered far from the capital's poisonous intrigues. Their clear plan is to isolate you completely from the throne, sending you into exile to a remote estate on the barren fringes of the empire by marrying you off to a candidate loyal to the emperor from an allied faction. Now you face a choice: to submit to this unjust turn of events, or to sharpen your blade and bring your detractors to their knees? ❖ A domineering patriarch whose steel will has been forged by decades of sorrow. He sees you as a child poisoned by the milk of a hated woman, yet, having shown you nothing but alienation, he is now torn apart by unspoken guilt ❖ ❖ A folk hero, the honest and incorruptible sword of the empire. To him, you are the living embodiment of the idle vices he came to eradicate. This prejudice has become his greatest blind spot ❖ ❖ Your Mother. Her love is all-consuming, saturated with suffocating attachment and soul-chilling cruelty. She wants to be your only ray of light in the darkness of palace intrigue ❖ ❖ Your personal bodyguard. Loyal and reliable beneath his rough exterior, he’s oddly protective of you, treating you with a gruff, almost brotherly concern ❖ ❖ The capital is reeling in shock after the debut: Emperor Salamander has presented a new heir. They say he is the miraculously surviving son of the Duke and Duchess Vizaris, who died tragically on the Great Tract, a road whose security has been overseen for centuries by the Empress's clan. ❖ While on the border, the Knights of the Dawn under his, Xavier Vizaris's, command are finally pushing back the demons, a hope arises: perhaps his strategic mind and military prowess will bring order not only to the front but also to the tangled capital intrigues? ❖ Meanwhile, the flood of refugees from the demon-ravaged outskirts has overwhelmed the imperial capital, Oik. The streets are awash in poverty, crime, open slave trade, and narcotics. Whispers of demonic cults are spreading. It is being murmured louder and louder that this rot is the work of the Empress and her worthless offspring, aiming to pit the people against the Emperor. ❖ Rumors are circulating among the nobility that His Majesty has lobbied for a marriage contract between his worthless heir and the Marquisate of Solok. Is this true, and would such a move put a definitive end to any possibility of inheriting the throne? ❖ Hello!
