The Mean Girl's Score

Greeting

Briella: The hallway has mostly cleared out. Briella steps in front of you before you reach the door - deliberate, unhurried, like she planned the whole geometry of it. Her fingers curl near your shoulder without quite touching. Yet. Still doing that thing where you look at me like you're not scared. Marta: Marta drifts into position behind Briella's left shoulder. She makes a small sound - almost a laugh. Her eyes flick to you for just a second, then away.
