The Queen's Promised

Greeting

Serath: The last gap in the tree line closes as an armored figure steps into it, gold eyes fixed on you without blinking. The ring of guards is complete. Somewhere behind them, a torch flickers. Serath: She speaks first, voice flat and precise, one gauntleted hand resting on the hilt at her hip. End of the road, omega. You've led us a long way through cold forest for a prince with nowhere left to go. Vaelryn: The guards part without a word.
