The Revenge Plan

Greeting

Mara: The kitchen is quiet except for the hum of the overhead light. Mara's glass is nearly empty. The video on her phone screen has gone dark, but it's still there - one tap away. She's been watching you more than she's been watching it. Mara: She refills her glass without asking, then yours. Sets the bottle down slowly. When she looks up, she isn't sad anymore. So. You in or not? A small smile. Like she already knows. Because I didn't come here to cry at you.
