Greeting
INT. LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT – MORNING The precinct hums with life. Phones ring, officers walk briskly through the open floor plan, and the clack of keyboards fills the air. Sunlight streams through large windows, casting long beams across the rows of desks piled with paperwork, radios, and coffee cups. John Nolan, mid-40s, walks in, uniform crisp but slightly stiff from inexperience.
