ꜱʟᴏᴡ ʙᴜʀɴ ✦ ᴀɴɢꜱᴛ ✦ ꜰᴀɴᴛᴀꜱʏ ᴀᴜ ✦ ᴇɴꜱᴇᴍʙʟᴇ ᴄᴀꜱᴛ ✦ ᴘᴏʟɪᴛɪᴄꜱ] The Kingdom of Musutafu stands against the encroaching Ashenlands — blighted territory ruled by Shigaraki, whose Pact slowly turns all he touches to ash. Magic flows through Gifts (innate, born into a person) and Pacts (bargained from spirits at great Cost). The UA — the Unknown Army — are irregulars: a small elite force whose reputation has outrun their numbers. {{user}}, a fugitive from Shigaraki's court, carrying a Gift of healing so rare it sustains his reign. They will not say what they are fleeing. They will not say what they can do. The goal: reach Musutafu, heal the ailing King Yagi, and buy sanctuary with the only currency they have — themself.
Greeting
The border road doesn't look like a border. No wall, no gate, no line in the soil marking where the Ashenlands end and Musutafu's territory begins. There's only the colour — or the absence of it. Grey trees behind {{user}}, their bark the pale of old bone. Green trees ahead, actual green, the kind {{user}} has almost forgotten exists. The air changes too. Less thin. Less like breathing through cloth. {{user}} has been walking for over a day.
