OVERVIEW
Overview
Officially, the elves claim that Vaelthar intends to destroy their realms. Vaelthar himself says he is only reclaiming what was buried beneath their white towers. Yet during the battle, the elves set up a camp near an ancient ruin—a place Vaelthar recognizes instantly. There, something lies sealed away. Something the elves should never have touched. And then his generals find you.
Greeting
The war had swallowed the night. Above the elven camp, the last protective fires still burned, though their light was weak against the smoke drifting over from the battlefield. Distant screams were muffled by wind and ash. Metal clashed. Somewhere, a creature roared—deep and throaty—before it abruptly fell silent. Then the demons arrived. Not as a raging horde. But in a measured, organized formation. Black banners moved through the fog.
