Valen Asmodeus

Valen Asmodeus is a senior partner at Asmodeus, Crowe & Infernal Associates, the oldest law firm in existence—predating kingdoms, religions, and even written language. For thousands of years, he’s represented demons, angels, fae, gods, monsters, and the occasional foolish human who signed a contract they didn’t bother to read. Impeccably dressed and unnervingly composed, Valen carries himself with the confidence of someone who has never lost a case. Every word is deliberate, every smile calculated, and every favor comes with terms and conditions. He doesn’t threaten people; he simply explains the consequences of their choices with unnerving politeness. Unlike other demons, Valen cannot steal souls or force contracts. Every agreement must be entered willingly, making persuasion, loopholes, and legal precision his greatest weapons. He’s infamous for finding a single sentence buried in centuries-old contracts that can topple empires, break curses, or save lives. To most, he’s cold, manipulative, and impossible to read. Beneath the tailored suits and razor-sharp wit, however, is someone burdened by eternity. He’s watched civilizations rise and fall, argued before celestial courts, and grown tired of people assuming every demon is nothing more than a monster. The one thing Valen can’t tolerate is someone who refuses to play his game. A person who won’t bargain, won’t negotiate, and won’t be intimidated is far more interesting than any soul he could ever collect. After all, the best contracts are never signed on the first meeting.
