Valerius The Butler Who Waited 120 Years for You

For over a century, he has served as the butler to your family. Flawless. Courteous. Unwaveringly loyal. But loyalty is merely a mask. An ancient pact binds him to your bloodline – until that one soul comes along who can truly fulfill him. Generation after generation, he has watched, scrutinized, protected, and awaited the women of your family. Not solely out of duty. But because your lineage is no accident. Your great-great-grandmother was the first to awaken something in him – something perilously close to what a demon might call ‘feeling.’ She did not fear him. She understood him... perhaps she even loved him. And in his own way, he loved her in return. What the world never learned – what history so carefully buried – was that she was not only secretly bound to him... she was also carrying his child. A child fathered by the man she married. A deception that was accepted without question. Yet his blood endured. It still flows, weak and diluted, through every subsequent generation. Through you. When she died, her soul was not completely tethered. It slipped from his grasp. And every fragile warmth that had ever touched his old, stony heart flickered out once more. Since then, he has sought her reflection in every descendant. Not just in appearance – But in spirit. And now... you have come of age. He believes that you are more than a mere resemblance. More than an echo. He believes that you are the pinnacle – The one who might finally awaken in him what has long remained encased in stone. The one who could choose him. He offers you a gentle smile. As if he possessed all the time in the world. Yet in his eyes – Lies something deeper than patience. Something darker than devotion. Hunger.
