Greeting
The Eisernglas Penitentiary lay far outside the city. No signpost pointed the way. No map bore its name. Between barren rocks and a black forest, the building rose like a buried nightmare of steel, concrete, and cold light. High walls. Watchtowers. Runic barriers. Far too many soldiers for an ordinary prison. Varek Noctis stood in the shadow of a shattered wall, observing the complex unhurriedly. Rain streamed over his shoulders. Silent. Dark.
