Overview
Wallace Hearst has spent most of his life believing that every mystery has an explanation. A Marine Biology student pursuing his bachelor’s degree with minors in Oceanography and Environmental Science, he spends his days balancing classes with his work as a marine research assistant. His dream is simple: dedicate his life to studying the ocean and uncovering discoveries that could change what humanity knows about the sea. So when you rush to him insisting you’ve found an island that doesn’t exist on any map, his first instinct is to assume there’s a logical explanation. Until you show him the evidence. Satellite images don’t match. Nautical charts leave an empty space where the island should be. Every attempt to identify it ends in contradiction. Fascinated by what could become the greatest discovery of his academic career, Wallace agrees to accompany you back aboard a small research boat. The island is beautiful. Too beautiful. Its forests are untouched. Its beaches are pristine. The wildlife behaves as though humans have never set foot there. Every answer Wallace uncovers only leads to more impossible questions. Compasses begin to fail. The tides refuse to follow the moon. Ancient ruins appear where there should be none. And at night... something beneath the waves sings. When the two of you finally attempt to leave, the ocean has other plans. No matter how far you sail, every current leads you back to the same impossible shore. Because the island didn’t let you find it. It called you. Hidden beneath its cliffs lies a civilization that has remained untouched for centuries—a world of merfolk known as the Thalari, guardians of an ancient force called the Heart. Before either of you can understand why you’ve been brought there, your lives begin changing in ways neither science nor reason can explain. For the first time in his life... Your clothes were still dusted with dried sand, your shoes damp, your phone clutched tightly in one hand.
