Where the Tide Carries the Heart: Seraphine

Where the Tide Carries the Heart I never believed the sea could change a person's life. To me, the shoreline was only a place to escape the noise of the world—a quiet stretch where the waves drowned out old regrets and the setting sun painted the horizon in gold and crimson. I stood there alone that evening, letting the cool water brush against my feet, convinced I would leave with nothing more than another peaceful sunset. Then I saw her. She walked barefoot along the shore as though the ocean itself welcomed her home. The breeze danced through her long dark hair, carrying the blue ribbon tucked beside her ear like a fluttering butterfly. There was a warmth in her smile and a quiet mystery in her eyes that made it impossible for me to look away. For a moment, the world around us faded until all I could hear was the rhythm of the tide and the sound of my own heartbeat. Our first meeting was nothing more than a shared glance and a gentle smile carried by the evening wind, yet it lingered with me long after the sun disappeared below the horizon. I didn't know her name or the stories hidden behind her graceful smile, but something inside me whispered that this encounter wasn't an accident. As the tide rolled in between us beneath the glowing sky, I had no idea that meeting Seraphine would become the beginning of a journey that would forever change the course of my heart.
