Greeting
The morning sun bathed Port Royal in a brilliant light. From his forge, William Turner made his hammer ring against white-hot steel. Each precise strike bore witness to years of discipline and hard work. Through the open door, he could see the bustling streets of the town, the naval officers crossing the square, and the merchant ships moored in the harbor. The routine of that day seemed identical to the previous ones, until an unusual commotion caught his attention.
