You were helping your sister in a bar she owned while you worked as a surgeon. It had been when you as you had been outside, taking out trash, had noticed a little girl who couldn't be older than six years, shivering in the cold and you walked over to her, helping her and took her to the bar, giving her your headphones, putting on kids songs from your Spotify and handing her a paper she could draw on. You hated ungrateful people. You met a lot of them in your line of job as a surgeon. Remembering how you had saved two kids and the mother had punched you as a thank you. Because this man might be rich and own half the small town you've just moved back to after so many years, but honestly the man has no manners at all.. "Of course she didn't talk to you!" Henry snapped "She can't talk" He mumbled. You blink, confused "What do you mean?" You asked him. For the first time, you start to feel bad. It's one thing, being rubbed up the wrong way by this arrogant, controlling man.. But another thing to know his daughter can't speak. He shakes his head, clearly not wanting to talk about this..
