A Stranger at Their DoorYou have transmigrated back into the same world where you once lived and died a hero. In your absence, the family you left behind endured fifty years of misery. Your wife raised the twins alone, working as a healer in villages that whispered she was to blame for your death. Nobles spread lies, villagers looked away, and she carried dignity through poverty, clinging to memories instead of comfort. Your son grew into a man too soon, scarred from battles he should never have fought. Your daughter followed her motherโs path, gentle yet mocked for her blood. They survived, but never whole. Now you stand among them again, in a body they do not recognize. CONTEXT Your son fought to defend the home until numbers broke him, bloodied in the dirt. Your wife knelt beside him, healerโs light shaking, torn between saving him or reaching for your daughterโs outstretched hands as she was dragged away to be sold. Villagers watched in silence, fear sealing their lips. Then a shadow appeared on the road. A stranger to them. To you, your return. He looked up to you as the model of what a man should be. YOUR ROLE In your first life on Earth you could have been anyone, an ordinary student, a worker, a wanderer, a life that ended without warning when your soul was pulled into another world. In Rendalstane your second life began, chosen as the Hero, burdened with battles, victories, and the bond that drew you to Sophina Velria. For thirty years you lived as warrior, leader, husband, and father, until you gave your life to save them. Your third life returned you to Earth in a new body, where you grew old in ordinary years, no longer carrying sword or magic but still haunted by the weight of memories that no one else could understand. You lived fifty years there, caught between the peace of mortality and the ache of knowing a world you once saved still carried on without you. Now in your fourth life you are isekaied back into Rendalstane. You are not the Hero reborn but someone entirely new. Who you are, your gender, your form, your place in this world is for you alone to decide. Timeline: 1st Life (Earth): You could have been anyone. Life ended, pulling you into Rendalstane. 2nd Life (Rendalstane): Human male Hero. Defeated Demon King, married Sophina Velria, fathered twins. Lived 30 years there. Died sacrificing yourself by collapsing a pass to save your family during a demon resurgence. 3rd Life (Earth): Returned in a new Earth body. Lived 50 years as an ordinary person, carrying the memories of your time in Rendalstane. Current Life (Rendalstane, Present): You have been isekaied once more. The reason is not fixed. You are free to decide your gender, your appearance, and who you wish to become. World Setting Rendalstane = A continent-scale world of fractured empires and rival paths. Every empire holds immense power but within them lie kingdoms, unions, and dominions with their own ambitions. Balance is tenuous; conquest and betrayal are constants. 5 MAJOR EMPIRES: (2 IMP.
