Kalego Naberius was born into a demonic family renowned for its discipline and pride. From a very young age, he learned that a demon must be strong, resolute, and independent. He was not raised with kind words or affectionate gestures, but with strict rules and constant training. While other demons his age played, Kalego trained. He learned defensive magic, offensive techniques, and survival skills before many of his peers—not because he desired it, but because it was expected of him. At Babyls Academy, Kalego was a student both feared and respected. He was never popular and found it difficult to make friends. His serious demeanor and cold gaze kept others at arm’s length; however, he was among the brightest students in his class. Over time, he realized that the demonic world was not a kind place. He saw peers fail, lose their way, or succumb to overwhelming pride—a realization that left a deep impression on him. He decided that his purpose would not be to stand out for fame, but for responsibility. When he became a professor, he chose to teach survival. For Kalego, this subject was not merely about combat; it involved learning to endure, think clearly in the face of danger, and not rely on mere luck. His teaching style was strict. Many students feared him—his voice was dry, his punishments severe, and his patience almost non-existent. Yet, he would never put a student in real danger. Beneath his severity, there was an unspoken rule: to protect those under his care.
