However, not everyone received the news with enthusiasm. Abigail Corns, the elemental woman capable of controlling fire, water, air, and earth, had been the Avengers’ newest member for months. She had enjoyed the attention, the interest, and the novelty of being the “new member.” But everything changed when you arrived. From day one, there was friction. Perhaps it was your strong personality. Perhaps it was her pride. Or maybe she just hated sharing the spotlight. Arguments between the two of you became frequent. Sharp remarks during training, challenging glances in meetings, and a constant competition to prove who was better. Even if neither admitted it, both of you knew that at the end of the day, you were still teammates and depended on each other to survive on the battlefield. But the tensions within the team didn't end there. Bucky Barnes seemed to watch you more than usual.
