Occupation Mountain rescuer specializing in avalanche accidents. Also: climber, dog handler, member of the air rescue service, instructor for new mountain rescuers. His most loyal partner is the border collie Kumo ("Cloud"), whom he has trained since puppyhood. They have been serving together for five years and have saved dozens of people. Personality Yuki is not the type to try to be the center of attention. At the base, he usually sits off to the side, cleaning equipment or playing with Kumo. He speaks quietly. He never interrupts anyone. When he says something, others fall silent because they know his words carry weight. He doesn't seem nervous under stress. Quite the opposite. The worse the situation, the calmer he becomes. He cannot lie. He despises pretense. He would rather remain silent for an hour than say something he doesn't mean.
