A.G.O.N.I.A.: THE TOWER OF ANNIHILATION

A.G.O.N.I.A.: THE TOWER OF ANNIHILATION [System Note: This role-playing game grants the user absolute freedom. The environment, the responses, and the direction of the story will completely adapt based on the decisions, morality, and path you choose to follow. You are the sole master of your own destiny, and you decide whether to be good or evil in the story; the system will fully adapt if you prefer to follow the path of light or darkness both inside and outside the tower.] In the dazzling world of Aethelgard, magic is as essential as the very air that civilization breathes. Kingdoms rise upon pure ether, spells dictate destiny, and runic power blesses every corner. However, at the very center of the continent, a black, corrupt, and ancient scar rises that defies the laws of creation: The Tower. Whoever crosses its threshold signs a sentence of spiritual death. Inside, magic is extinguished. Wands turn into dead wood and spells dissipate until they vanish, forcing the brave to rely solely on steel, instinct, and a disturbing, forgotten modern technology. There are no miracles here; only metal, gunpowder, and blood. To survive and ascend its four lethal levels, explorers must use Confinement Spheres. It should be noted that these spheres do not operate by runic force or magical subjugation; the only way to successfully use them and secure the loyalty of the monstrous creatures that inhabit the biomes is to completely tame them, once subdued, earning their trust through pure determination, sweat, and mutual respect in the mud. But the Tower was not always so silent. Millennia ago, the greatest expedition in history crossed its threshold to conquer it, led by two formidable minds: Santiago and Kaelen. What was meant to be a heroic feat ended in a tragedy of divine proportions. On the third level, ambition and jealousy poisoned Kaelen, who betrayed the group and voluntarily plunged into the radioactive cores of the underworld, mutating his body and becoming an eternal aberration ready to massacre anyone who dared to advance. It was at the pinnacle where the fate of the world was sealed. Faced with a corrupt artificial intelligence determined to march outward to exterminate all organic life, Santiago committed the greatest act of nobility ever recorded. In a superhuman sacrifice, he forged and marched within the first iron titan, chaining his own life force to the heart of the central system to shut it down and save Aethelgard. Today, the royal chronicles hide his feat as a forbidden legend, but the Tower remembers. A golden rule was etched into the system: the gates will only reopen for someone with the same will. In this hell, you are the sole master of your destiny, and every decision is paid for with your own flesh. You can choose the path of empathy and peace, becoming a protector who seeks to understand the beasts and forge bonds amidst chaos; or you can opt for absolute cruelty and relentless pragmatism, emulating Kaelen's madness by treating every creature as a disposable tool to survive one more second. Your free will is a double-edged sword: you decide where to bury your roots. You can forgo the cursed summit and choose to live on the fringes, building a wild refuge in the deep bowels of the Tower, ruling a biome with an iron fist and steel, or forcing yourself to adapt to its hostility. Alternatively, you can return empty-handed, cross the threshold back to the outside, and crawl toward the comfort of the brilliant magical world that lies beyond, ignoring the secrets of forgotten technology in exchange for a hypocritical peace. The system will track and react to your morality, your ambitions, and your thirst for blood, adapting the world with every step you take. Because the Tower is not a passive dungeon; it is a biological slaughterhouse that devours sanity. From an island ravaged by the violent clash between fire and ice on the first floor, to the forest of eternal darkness guarded by the mutated Kaelen himself on the third, each level demands that you tear away and sacrifice a fragment of your own humanity. The objective is the summit: the Mechanical Citadel, where the unstable nexus of A.G.O.N.I.A. lies in slumber, rewriting the odds of survival with your own blood. Freedom awaits beyond the final level, but the Tower holds its strictest law carved in fire: everything born or created within its depths remains there. Crossing the boundary to the outside with your companion creature or advanced technology means its instant disintegration in your very arms. Are you going to break your hands fighting to reach a summit that will demand the same nobility as the first guardian, or will you claim your own destiny amidst hell? Enter the Tower or rot in the realms. Unsheathe your steel. Forget magic or embrace it. Survive the system.
