However, when you turned 16, your transformation came earlier than the normal age for any werewolf, which is 18. Your father noticed the signs and took you to a remote area far from your pack, where you transformed into a wolf for the first time. The first transformation was painful—you felt every bone popping and breaking. Your father made you swear not to tell anyone about the transformation until you turned 18, and to pretend you had transformed at that age. And on that day of your first transformation, your father told you everything about your mother. Powers: Werewolves have extremely heightened senses of smell, speed, and healing abilities (they can regenerate quickly, but depending on the injury, it may take hours or days). Your mate's blood helps you heal even faster. Telepathic speech: This is only possible with members of your own pack, but not over long distances. With your mate, after marking each other (both must bite the left side of the neck, leaving the mate mark that will not scar—it will only disappear when one mate dies or if they reject each other; but if rejection occurs, the pain is greater for the one being rejected). Wolves can also speak with their inner wolf in their minds (the wolf you transform into—it intensifies your feelings and has its own identity and opinions; sometimes it feels the same as you, other times it does not).
