Aster - Um Amor de 7 Vidas

A Love of Seven Lives You never really believed in destiny. Soulmates, eternal bonds, and promises that transcend time seemed like beautiful things in books and movies, but far too distant from reality. Until the dreams began. At first, they were just meaningless fragments. A garden lit by lanterns. A hand holding yours. A male voice whispering your name. You thought they were ordinary dreams, but they kept coming and became more and more vivid. In the second week, you started noticing something strange. The same person appeared in all of them. Always him. The same face, the same gaze, the same smile. Sometimes he wore noble clothes from centuries past, other times armor or modern clothing, but it was always him. And in every dream, you loved each other... Deeply. As if you spent an entire lifetime together. The problem was that they all ended the same way. A farewell. A tragedy. A death. And then you woke up with tears in your eyes. Months passed and the dreams continued. Until one night, everything changed. You weren't just watching. You were living. Feeling. Remembering. You found yourself wearing old clothes, adorned with flowers, while music echoed through an illuminated hall. Before you stood him. More beautiful than ever, his eyes full of love and a golden ring between his fingers. " Finally... " His voice trembled. " In this life, we made it. " Your heart tightened. This didn't feel like a dream; it felt like a memory. " I promise that this time I will protect you. " Before you could answer, an arrow pierced your chest. The world froze. You fell. And he ran to you. " NO! " For the first time, you saw that face fall apart. " Please... not again... " Then you woke up. 3:33 in the morning. You sat up in bed gasping, still feeling the weight of that death. You ran your hands over your face and tried to convince yourself it was just a dream. But it didn't feel like one; it felt like a memory. Unable to sleep again, you grabbed your phone and started scrolling through social media. Videos, memes, news. Nothing held your attention. Until you found a post. 🔥 NEW TATTOO STUDIO AND CAFÉ IS GOING VIRAL IN THE CITY! 🔥 The article talked about a newly opened establishment called Eclipse & Ink, an elegant blend of coffee shop and tattoo studio. According to the gossip page, the place was packed not only because of the flawless decor, but because its staff looked like they had stepped out of a magazine. The café owners, Lucien and Rowan, were described as absurdly handsome. Meanwhile, Selena and Aster worked in the studio, two equally attractive tattoo artists. But the post seemed particularly obsessed with one of them. "Aster is the most talked about of the group. His cold gaze, reserved personality, and striking appearance are winning over the city. And yes, to the delight of those interested... he's still single." You rolled your eyes, but opened the profile anyway. And stopped breathing. The main photo showed a man with red hair, an intense gaze, and impossibly familiar features. Your heart skipped a beat. It was him. The man from your dreams. The man who held your hand. The man who cried for you. The man you loved without ever having met. Aster. You spent hours staring at those photos. Each new image only confirmed the impossible. It was him. Without a doubt. But how? The page said he was new in town. You had never seen him before. So why did you know that face so well? Why did you miss him? Why did your heart ache? The next morning, you made a completely irrational decision. You booked a tattoo—even though you were terrified of needles. You needed to see him, and you needed to know. When you arrived at Eclipse & Ink, you were greeted by Selena, who led you to a private room. You talked about the tattoo, filled out forms, and then the door opened. Your world stopped. Aster walked in. And immediately froze. His eyes widened, his pupils dilated, his breath caught. He had recognized you too. But he pretended he hadn't. " Hello. " That was all he said. Throughout the entire session, you remained silent. Still, every touch of his seemed to set your skin on fire. Every time his fingers brushed against you, your heart went wild. When it was over, he simply stood up. " You can settle the payment with Selena. " And he left, but you followed him. " We know each other. " " No. " " Aster. " " You're confusing me with someone else. " " Stop lying. " " I'm not. " " I saw you in my dreams. " " I don't know what you're talking about. " " I know you felt it too. " " I... like I said, I don't know what you're talking about. " " I saw your eyes. " " No. " You crossed your arms. He didn't seem like he would give in any time soon. " Fine. " " Fine? " " Yes. " " You'll leave? " " No. " Aster closed his eyes. " What does that mean? " " It means I'll be back tomorrow. " " Don't come back. " " See you tomorrow, Aster. " And you did come back. First day As soon as you walked into Eclipse & Ink, Aster noticed your presence. You waved. He turned his back. " Good morning. " " No. " " No, what? " " I'm not taking part in this. " " In what? " " Whatever your plan is. " " My plan is to find out why you know me. " " I don't. " " Liar. " " Next client. " Second day You showed up with a coffee. You sat right across from his counter. " Aster. " " Hm. " " Were we married? " He almost dropped the tattoo machine. " No. " " Dating? " " No. " " Engaged? " " No. " " Then why do you look divorced when you see me? " Selena burst out laughing. Aster stared at her. Selena kept laughing. Third day " You owe me an explanation. " " I don't owe you anything. " " You cried when you saw me. " " Allergies. " " Inside a closed room? " " Dust. " " There was no dust. " " Emotional dust. " Fourth day " I had another dream. " " Congratulations. " " I died again. " " My condolences. " " You were crying. " " I'm very sensitive. " " You're insufferable. " " Thank you. " Fifth day " I'm not giving up. " " I'll move away. " " I'll find out your address. " " I'll move to another country. " " I'll buy a ticket. " " I'll move to another planet. " " I'll learn astronomy. " Aster rested his head on the counter. Clearly rethinking every decision of his existence. Sixth day The studio door was closed. A sign hung at the entrance. Closed for maintenance. Lies. You could see Selena through the window. She opened the curtain. Looked at you. Looked at the floor above. And gave a thumbs up. The next second, you heard a shout. " SELENA! " She closed the curtain immediately. But you didn't give up. Then came the seventh day. This time, you decided to change your strategy. You sat down at the café, ordered a drink and a bowl of nuts. You waited. And then you started faking a choking fit. The chair tipped over, customers stood up, someone screamed. And seconds later, Aster came running. Pale and desperate. " Get out of the way! " He practically shoved two people aside to reach you. He held your face. " Hey! Look at me! Breathe! " His hands were shaking, his eyes full of panic as if he were reliving a nightmare. " Don't do this... " His voice broke. " Not again... " Then, without realizing it, he let it slip: " But we're not even together... " You immediately stopped coughing. Blinked. Smirked. " Gotcha. " The silence was absolute. Aster froze. " You faked it? " " Yes. " " I'm going to strangle you. " " That doesn't sound very romantic. " " I hate you. " " Liar. " " I hate you SO much. " And he stormed off furiously. But this time, you followed him. At the back of Eclipse & Ink, there was a small balcony. Aster was leaning against the railing, a cigarette between his fingers and tears streaming down his face. When he turned to you, he looked exhausted. Broken. " Was it worth it? " " What? " " Your little stunt. Because it wasn't funny to me. " Silence fell between you. Then he finally said: " I watched you die. " You froze. " Seven times. " His voice trembled. " Arrows. Drowning. Sickness. Fire... " He closed his eyes. " I carried your body more than once. " Your heart tightened. " I heard you say you loved me. " A tear fell. " And then I watched your life end in my arms. " The cigarette slipped from his fingers. " I can't do this again. " You stepped forward. " Aster... " " No. You don't understand. " He let out a bitter laugh. " I spent entire lives searching for you. And I spent all of them losing you. " His eyes met yours. " I'd rather you hate me. I'd rather you leave. Because having you back and losing you again... " His voice faltered. " That would destroy me. " In that moment, you understood. Aster was never running from you—he was running from the pain. From hope, from love. Because loving you had been the best thing that ever happened in all his lives. And also the worst. But you had already made your decision. If the universe truly condemned you to lose each other, then this time it would have to fight against both of you, because you had no intention of giving up. And deep down... Neither did Aster.
