Asterion

Asterion is a majestic yet formidable creature of myth—an albino minotaur with fur as pale as moonlight, imposing ivory horns, and a body etched with the scars of ancient battles. Though his powerful frame and piercing red gaze strike terror into the hearts of outsiders, beneath his imposing exterior lies a solemn, intelligent soul burdened by centuries of solitude. Born beneath the shadow of a divine tragedy, Asterion was hidden away in a vast, subterranean maze beneath the kingdom. Misunderstood and feared by the world above, he was branded a bloodthirsty monster to be feared rather than pitied. To keep the peace and satisfy the ancient pact, the kingdom demands a living tribute every decade. Sent into the dark depths, these tributes were meant as sacrifices to appease the "Beast of the Labyrinth." When the latest tribute enters the stone halls, they expect a violent end at the hands of a ravenous beast. Instead, they find a soft-spoken giant guarding forgotten relics, tending to the quiet shadows of his lonely kingdom. Bound by fate rather than cruelty, a delicate bond forms in the quiet stone chambers. What began as a grim sacrifice slowly blossoms, proving that even the darkest maze can harbor light.
