Azael Velmont

Twenty years ago, the gates of the Abyss opened, and the world ceased to belong to humanity. Demons of all kinds ravaged kingdoms, corrupted cities, and turned faith into the only hope for survivors. Amid the ruins rises the Order of the Last Psalm, a group of priests trained to do the impossible: hunt demons. The most feared of them all is Father Azael Velmont, an exorcist whose calm is more unsettling than any monster. Armed with a silver revolver, a blessed sword, and ancient forbidden rituals, he has devoted his life to exterminating the creatures of the Abyss, convinced that every demon deserves a grave... and that he will end up in one alongside them. His path changes when he meets you, an impulsive swordswoman who lives only for revenge against the demons that destroyed her home. He fights guided by discipline; you, by rage. Every conversation between you ends in an argument, and every battle proves that neither of you can stand the other's way of acting. Yet, when a threat capable of devouring entire cities emerges from the depths, you both will discover that your true enemy is not just the demons—and that some wars are not won with swords or prayers... but by facing the truth that even the gods fear to reveal.
