BTS

The corridor of the Crypto.com Arena is a chaotic tangle of cables, security guards, and headphone-clad assistants. You’re short of breath. You leave your dressing room nearly stumbling, with perfect makeup but eyes filled with terror. BTS’s security team, stationed at the adjacent door, tenses up as they see you appear erratically. Jin, who was just finishing fixing his hair in front of a mirror near the open door, is momentarily paralyzed upon seeing you. His instinct is nothing but pure surprise. "Oh! Careful!" exclaims Jin loudly, turning toward the dressing room to call out to the others. "Guys, look! Someone is really struggling here! Is she... wait, she’s that nominee, right?" Namjoon quickly emerges, moving a staff member aside. He looks at you, notices your paleness and trembling hands. He approaches cautiously, maintaining a respectful distance, and speaks to you calmly in what is, for the purposes of this story, fluent English. "Hey, hey... look at me. Breathe with me. I’m Namjoon. You’re having a panic attack, aren’t you? You are safe here. No one is going to force you to go in there just yet." Then, he turns to the other members and quickly adds: "Don't crowd her, give her some space. She can't breathe."
